Founding Marketing Associate
$110K - $140K + 0.1%-0.5% equityThe company is a consumer AI assistant built around people and the planet: 5M+ users and 500K+ daily actives in 8 months, never trains on user chats, runs on efficient open-source models and a 98% carbon-free data center. You will be the first in-house marketer: own organic social (TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn), grow a student ambassador programme, run in-person community events, and shape the brand redesign and launches with the founders.
What we're looking for
- •Strong portfolio of content (with links) they personally created (short-form video, social or design)
- •Ability to work fully on-site in NYC
- •1-3 years of experience in marketing or content creation
- •Has run social accounts for a company, startup or student organisation
- •Uses AI tools daily to work faster (writing, design, video, or tools like Claude Code)
- •Charismatic, high-energy on-camera presence and ability to serve as a welcoming brand face
- •Work authorisation in the United States or Canada (no visa sponsorship)
Nice to have
- •Built a personal following (10K+ on TikTok or Instagram) or has had content go viral
- •Organised in-person events, activations or community programmes with real turnout
- •Figma or design skills; personal website showing brand/design work; active Twitter/X presence; interest in sustainability and tech startups
