Founding GTM Engineer (Growth)

$145K - $165K base (OTE $165K - $190K) + equity; up to $8K relocation
The company builds AI agents that run the front office for American manufacturers, automating order entry, quoting, RFQs, AP/AR and purchasing inside the ERPs customers already use. YC P26, $4.3M seed. This is the second GTM Engineer (Growth) hire, working alongside the founders and the current GTM engineer. The role is roughly 80% software engineering and 20% sales/marketing. You will own the top of the funnel end to end, from sourcing and enrichment to sequencing and booked meetings, across email, LinkedIn, phone, mail and other channels. You will build on the in-house CRM so every touch, sales call voice log and piece of customer feedback flows back into targeting, with attribution from first touch to signed contract. You will mine sales calls and customer feedback for the language and triggers that move manufacturers, run a constant testing programme across audience, offer, message and channel, and turn every trade show into pipeline. Early projects are small and grow to campaigns of around 25,000 emails a month. Interview process: 15-minute screen, one-hour in-person whiteboard on process design, then a paid 2-3 day in-office work trial, then offer.

What we're looking for

  • •Experience building complex growth or outbound systems end to end in real code (GTM Engineer, Growth Engineer, Founding GTM), not only connecting tools like Clay or n8n
  • •Demonstrated depth: has taken a project end to end and can show how it was built, how it was used and the measured result
  • •2-5 years of experience across engineering, sales or marketing, with the work mostly engineering (about 80% engineering, 20% sales/marketing)
  • •Able to write production-ready code (Python, SQL, APIs, webhooks)
  • •Computer science fundamentals
  • •Based in New York or willing to relocate and work 5 days a week in U.S. person (US citizen or green card holder); no visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • •Experience at high-growth tech startups or hyperscalers (Clay, Ramp, Rippling, Legora, Tennr, Happy Robot)
  • •STEM degree
  • •Experience at Vercel (also named as an ideal background)
  • •An unusual, non-linear approach to a GTM problem (e.g. using public data such as OSHA records to size a customer) or a background as a strong AE who moved into building GTM systems in code

Point us at the role. We'll deliver the shortlist.
